Unique Rendezvous: For those of you who thought that cricket and literature don���t go hand-in-hand, here���s a googly!
As we saw literature buffs and cricket aficionados having a good time discussing the sport, politics and of course literature at this do in Jaipur. The occasion was the book reading session of politician and author Shashi Tharoor���s latest book, which is co-authored by Pakistan���s Shaharyar Khan, former foreign secretary and ex-chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
tharoor assembly: As the evening wore on, witty Tharoor���s interesting reading session left the audience intrigued, amused and pondering. This was followed by an interactive session where guests who had gathered from both India and Pakistan, asked questions from both the authors.
irresistible: The tempting combination of sports and literature, of wine and sumptuous snacks captivated the guests even after the reading session got over. Guests from across the border Afshan and Ayesha said, ���We are having a good time here.���
